Sino sa inyo may alam na parepair ng film based SLRs, particularly for a Ricoh KR10? Shutter problem kasi. Pictures will be posted soon. Thanks! Smile

i don't know jackshit about photography pero ang alam ko with anything related to cameras, films, accessories, pa-develop, etc. Hidalgo st. sa may Quiapo is the place to be. but then again, what do i know? Razz

hidalgo quiapo is the answer.
yung mga shops sa tabi ng 24k photo, or yung nasa right ng fans digital.
since film naman yan madali lang gawin kung may readily available parts.

check mo muna kung shutter nga yan or if you just need new batteries.


and since matagal na din ako di nakakapag post, samantalahin ko na yung mabilis na wifi na nasasagap ko:

anything from manfrotto/benro/slick

basta well made, hindi plastic, wont move if pinabayaan. if you can afford carbon fibre ones so that you wont break your back, mas ok yun.

napili ko manfrotto 190xprob. pero naguluhan ako sa headball hehe
salamat. carbon fiber sobrang mahal.... hehehe

im going out to buy the tripod now baka magbago pa isip nung magbibigay hehehe
research muna sa headball

personal preference na yung ballhead or pan head, or yung pistol grip.

never really liked ballheads that much, pero im sticking with pan heads kasi pwede ko sya magamit for video applications.

hinahanap ko kse yung madali at mabilis i-setup pati yung weight at versitility na rin
nkapili na ko leg - manfrotto 055xprob at head - 488rc2 Smile
sana hindi ako nagkamali ng pinili hehehe

night photo shoot next week pagdating ng tripod! (solo trip) yey!!

hey all, i'll be doing a 3 day photo workshop this feb with filmmaker bryan quesada.
we're having it tentatively in sigwada art gallery as part of the sigwada art festival.

no basic stuff here though. we'll be teaching visual storytelling and conceptualizing plus an exhibit by the end of the seminar. we'll be taking the participants out to document a certain area in manila.
for those interested in developing their creative vision and how to approach your photography with social relevance, this would be for you.


will update as soon as we finalize everything. may bayad po yung workshop to cover some expenses, pero it will be cheap. students are prioritized since slots will be limited.
