i love the underground but if i really had to give one thing that i've always despised is the arrogant fascist punk-purist close-mindedness. this is not a generalization because there are some decent folks out there but with every local scene, whether it be in laguna or new york city, has it's share of "i'm more punk than you" doushebags. i hope we can eventually shed this mentality. when we're at a show together, yeah, we're strangers to one another but we're also, for those few hours skanking, moshing, whatever, we're brothers and sisters.
