| maganda pag-usapan ito kung naniniwala tayo sa electoral system pero kung hindi - kebs.  my two cents on the topic - misconception yun kapag mayaman na politiko ay hindi magngangakam kapag nasa puder na. bakit? consider natin kung sino ang mga nakaupo sa puder - karamihan ay nasa section ng lipunan na maaring consider na elite. either involved sa business, landlord, ex-military, o political clan. karamihan kaya tumatakbo for office is either to serve the public's interest or their own. sa takbo ng pilipinas mukhang klaro kung kaninong interest ang pinagsisilbihan nila. sa tanong na kung sino ang ok na iboto into a public office - option ko ay yun meron track record na matino at lesser evil kung wala na pagpipilian. paano yun track record? tingnan mo kung kaninong interest yun sinulong nila sa previous na trabaho nila. kung dati na sila pulitiko malamang meron naman track record yan o kung bago eh di maki-tsismis ka lang sa ibat ibang sources.  remember magkaiba ang track record sa propaganda - be sure to to check if they walk the talk.  |

I think not sir. Kasi pinilit pa rin yung dalawang ELEVATED U-TURN sa me Kalayaan, Makati. Many civil engineers suggested it was not a feasible project and a total waste of government funds. We're talkin' bout millions of pesos here na galing sa mga bulsa namin dito.
Pero ayun, sige pa rin, patapos na nga ung pangalawa eh.. Traffic-wise naman, makakatulong...NG KONTI. Kasi nung nagka elevated U-turn, nagka bottle-neck naman sa ilalim ng fly-over. Naiipon din mga sasakyan. Simple lang sana solusyon eh, alisin yung mga skwater dun sa kanan, luwagan ang daanan... magbutas sa island para sa mga mag-uuturn, tas gamitin yung milyones sa pagpapatayo ng mga me sense na project. Madami yan... Schools, sirang kalsada, bridges... Marami pa...kung di napapunta sa MMDA yung pera, pwede rin ang magpakain sa mga nagugutom.

Stage a coup? I don't know but I've always felt good old fashion demonstration have always been the best way to speak as a voice for the public. And I don't think it's matter of "Ganyan talaga ang buhay dito kasi eh" as a lot of other escapists are quick to point out. It's just a matter of how much you care about really seeing change. So, you stage one protest and nothing happens, you don't influence anybody. But that doesn't mean you should give up or holdng protests are "futile". Nothing happens overnight.
It takes time. America was in the Vietnam for 13 years, depsite heavy opposition to the war. And some may say, "But we're not in a war."
I disagree. For as long as GMA is in office, we, the working class, are in a war every single day of our lives. |

and the most bloodless change must be a slow and convincing one.
I do not agree that inciting a spontaneous and unorganized action will trigger a sudden shift of public opinion about radicalism and all the solutions that lie within it.
Yes , we can both agree even from as far away as we are that as long as the butcher of mindoro lies in a congressional seat and as long as GMA holds office,
