Heyo! This is my first post in this message board ever...
though I've heard of it countless times before from my band mates in Caitlyn Bailey (Davao)..namely Francis and Raph...this is Mia Nakano by the way.

Anyway, pardon me but I'll get straight to the point. My purpose for posting this is to ask if anyone out there is interested to help me gather some used clothing and other relief goods for the typhoon victims in Cagayan de Oro City. Obviously there was a typhoon recently and most villages were engulfed by the unexpected deluge.

Things is, there's also a shelter for abused girls there that has been washed away by the flash flood, rendering these girls yet again homeless. My professor told me about it. I really can't sleep well whenever I think about the abused girls' current condition. Chances are, it would most likely lead to the exacerbation of their already shattered psychological state. I really want to help these girls so badly. I've actually already started my scouring...so far I've only gathered a few. Oh well, at least.

So If you and/or your friends are living in or near Davao City, outside Davao City or even outside the Philippines and you feel like helping my cause, you can send me an email and let's discuss about this as to how you could extend your help to the girls, etc.

Also, I'll ask Francis to let me use his Paypal account for the monetary donations, if ever there would be any. For the relief goods, used clothing (or anything useful), basic commodities, and over the counter medicines would be greatly appreciated. My professor is also doing her own scouring and I'm going to include my gathered stuff into hers so we could send it all there at once. I'm a graduating psych major by the way...

Now I'm not doing this for anything other than the previously stated premise. Nothing shady here whatsoever. I just like doing random acts of kindness, mostly charity work. It's good for the heart. Try it sometime.
