since this is the DIY pinoy bands section, i thought it would be a good idea if we had some sort of formal show announcement and invitation thread for bands from far off. like if a band from davao would like to play in manila, they could fish around here and vice versa.
let me start. i'm up for organizing a show in the middle of this year, if ever gusto ko rin sana mag invite ng mga taga luzon. mga one or two bands. what's in this for you? well, most of us are in school and those with jobs don't earn enough to pay for entire bands' plane fare/travel expenses but here's something we CAN offer. we can offer you places to stay, probably a decent size hotel room (don't expect 5 stars, we'll try to get something decent) too if we manage to scrounge up funds for you. we can take care of the food, definitely. we can also assure you of tons of free stuff from the bands/scenesters here. this isn't in a hurry but if any bands are willing to come over for either october or december, do let me know.
oh yeah, if 2009 proves good and convenient for all of us, would anybody be wiling to help us out with a good 2010 itinerary for luzon? just a thought.
