I have never downloaded it
so why is it infused with the subculture of punk / hc?

Punk /hc ( in its truest sense ) can never be packaged and sold to fit the standards of pop music
but hip hop, no matter how radical or "dangerous" (ex: Public Enemy, NWA, Lil Wayne)
will always make it to the charts so why does it make it to this particular forum?

Kaya marami'ng nakikinig nang hiphop or gangsta rap na punk or hardcore enthusiasts dahil sa occasional sociopolitical lyrics na tinatackle nang mga artists from a downtrodden/oppressed point of view yun yung particular aspect nang music na ito na nakakapag attract sa mga punk/hxcx peeps, later on na kakapag acquire na sila nang taste for the beats and flow and shit.

kung nung late 70's at 80's may punk at hardcore para maka relate yung mga angry disgruntled, lost youth ede nung late 80's at 90's so on merong accessible music tulad nang hip hop at gangsta rap tulad nang NWA at P.E. para maka relate sila.
