Bonded by Conviction was formed in summer of 2004. When xNeilx and xGilbertx decided to make a full time band. They got Donny and Rhyz of Mordum (Death metal band). Then they asked if they are interested to join. They decided to make songs and record them at Nyquist Recording Studio, Sta Rosa Laguna. They did the six songs CD ep under XThink Positivex Records.

Bonded by Conviction are greatly influenced by Straightedge/Hardcore band like
Liar – Belgium’s Vegan Metalcore, Caliban – German Metalcore, Heaven Shall Burn – German Metalcore, Undying – US Vegan Metalcore, Point of No Return – Brazilian Vegan Hardcore and Cataract – Swiss Metalcore.
