meeting place will be at the mwss in the katipunan-balara area. we will meet at 6 am sharp. please bring 50 php for the roundtrip boatride c/o mwss. the boat ride will take two hours, so we expect to be at the site by 830.
the seedlings are locally grown by my professor and by some of the residents in ipo. the watershed in norzagaray, bulacan is a protected area but is nevertheless inhabited by the dumagats [39], informal settlers [-120], and cultivators/ kaingeros (-150) . we will be planting narra and acacia trees which are endemic to the area.
this is a whole day activity so please bring packed lunch and your own water bottles. of course, we observe the zero-waste and leave-no-trace ethic. also bring extra clothes. but no mountaineer slippers please unless you want your feet blistered!
